Carpe Diem: Scent of Autum

Another special inspired by our holst at Carpe Diem - He turns 50 this months and celebrates 25 years of haiku. So in honour of Kristjaan I will not stray this time and I will stick to the meaning of the prompt he has intended.

The yellow moon
abundantly we prosper
during harvest time

during harvest time
the family works together
preparing for snow

preparing for snow
we know is sure to follow
the harvest moon

  2. I love the turning of words, like the turning of the seasons, the repetition of the last line and turning the haiku into a narrative. Nice.
