These are not technically Haikus but along that line.
So here are my three
5-7-5 poems for you
to read and critique:
Loneliness
loneliness, a leaf
falls softly to the ground and
nobody sees it.
Surrender
Three daughters, one wife
my life is a tightrope of
calm apologies.

That one right there is a way avoid 98 out of 99 problems ;)
Cleverly managed!
Yup yup 98 to go!!
DeleteI'm very drawn to the lonely leaf.
ReplyDeleteNice trio you've put together!
Thanks renee :)
DeletePerfection! Love each one.
ReplyDeleteThis was fun thanks
DeleteI loved all three of these poems-but Surrender made me smile because of it's perfection! I am also one of three sisters, so along with my mom, my dad was outnumbered! Now I have my own daughter-so the odds are still slightly stacked against my husband:)
ReplyDeleteThese were so very good-all of them!
Thanks Valerie. There is definitely peace in Surrender. :)
DeleteI love these. Such a simple, yet powerful, treatment of the prompt.
ReplyDeleteI love these, so meaningful.
