5-7-5 Poems

These are not technically Haikus but along that line.

So here are my three
5-7-5 poems for you
to read and critique:

Loneliness

loneliness, a leaf
falls softly to the ground and
nobody sees it.

Surrender

Three daughters, one wife
my life is a tightrope of
calm apologies.

  2. I'm very drawn to the lonely leaf.
    Nice trio you've put together!

  3. I loved all three of these poems-but Surrender made me smile because of it's perfection! I am also one of three sisters, so along with my mom, my dad was outnumbered! Now I have my own daughter-so the odds are still slightly stacked against my husband:)

These were so very good-all of them!
